This morning, cruised the Fat Boy to North Carolina for its 1,000 mile service and picked up the Heritage. WOW what a difference getting back on the 2005.
Man I missed "That sound"
Took the scenic route home, Blue Ridge Parkway.
Stopped at Phil's barbecue for lunch.
@BuzzCap7 @Hairy Larry
FTW

One of the things HD did right on that new Fatboy is the wheels. I have had a 2001 for 17 years. I always loved the solid disc because it looked the part and reminded me of the Terminator 2 movie. Hard part was keeping them nice and the wind was a bitch. Finally went Ride Wright 80 spoke 3 years ago.
Really like the styling on the new ones. It's an update but you still recognize it as the Fatboy for sure. I'm a fan.
Enjoy the new bike.

Heritage running like a top and throwing a P1356 code.
Check engine light don't stay on, rear cylinder is not misfiring, bike runs great.
I cleared the code with my power vision tuner yet two hours later it was back.
I read up about the code here

Dats wat I was thinking..."cam tensioners eh?" A bud had em go on his road King at 43 thousand, the plastic pads totally go, leaving the metal scraping on the chain.it makes a scary noise but it is fixable or it was in his case...Screaming Eagle upgrade time.
