Default Piston search assistance

i have 88tc with the 95 set up. I cracked a piston. These were made for the HTCC screaming eagle heads. I been searching for a couple days. Cannot locate.

Anyone know where to get or another piston that would work?

Those look like VERY custom pistons, like something a builder would work with a piston manufacturer on and buy a few hundred pairs to sell as a kit for their customers. Not many off the shelf pistons have that "domed dish" style those have.

Hammer makes some domed pistons like that but they focus more on the Sportster engine.

Arias built them for HD
the p/n 22439-00A comes up in old threads
I expect locating a replacement to very difficult
Arias is now owned by CP Carillo

"Campbell Enterprises" shows Arias pistons and offers to custom build to your spec.
Sounds spendy..

Good luck

AFAIK this pistons have been obsolete for some time.

Your best bet if you want to save the heads is likely to sent them to Axtel Sales or possibly Dave Mackie. These guys can cut a new quench in the heads and supply pistons that will work.

You'll want to clean the heads and check them for cracks between the valve seats and plug hole first.

Another suggestion would be to replace the heads with a set of ported stock heads and get back to more standard parts.

I agree with max, it would probably be good to just bring it back to standard parts and go to a 98-in cylinder and bore. There's a lot of guys on here that do that very affordable. And get a set of 96 inch up heads that would bolt right on.. They flow a little better and springs and accommodate nice cams.. You can pick them up pretty cheap too, as take offs..

I am falling in behind Max and 98hrfb (I keep telling him he needs to shorten his "handle"). Later OEM heads, bore to 98" pistons (CP/Carillo) to fit and set compression for the existing cam or maybe replace the cam for a complete new setup
