Can someone please tell me how to test this ignition coil. All videos I've found are different coils with the 2 smaller connecters

 

There are 2 types of ignition coils, Dual Fire and Single Fire. Dual Fire has 2 low voltage connections and Single Fire has 3. 2 pin coil - with a multi-meter set on OHMS, set a test probe on each pin and check the resistance. 3pin coil - center pin should be common, so meter probe is 1 to center, 2nd to right, take reading. Then center to left pin, take reading. Refer to your Factory Service Manual for specific tolerances to your bike.

 

Looks like a TC (twincam) coil. All TCs are single fire. The issue is whether or not it's a carb / MMI coil or Delphi. Delphi will have 4 pins on the connector and the will have 3. About all you can do is ohm it out without a coil tester. This coil should be run on TCs only as the primaries are only 1/2 ohm. Secondary are in the K Ohm area. If Delphi, the secondarys will have resistance to the 4th pin.
