Default Question on 107 build

Good Morning, I currently have a 2007 Ultra Classic with a 103 inch motor, Zippers Thundersport heads, Woods TW-222 cams, HPI 55 mm TB with Screamin Eagle 4.9 injectors, Ness Big sucker and D&D Fatcat 2 into 1. I am looking into going to a 107 cylinder, with either Woods TW 999-6 Cam or Hammer Crush 610. I am having Hammer Performance bore the jugs and put in 11:1 pistons and redoing the valve springs to accommodate the new cams. Does anybody use the Hammer Crush Cams? What do you know abut them? I know they are ground by Andrews but not much else on the web about them. What do you know about Hammer Performance? I know they are big into the Sportys.
Suggestions?

If those heads were done by our friends at Zippers, I'd say stay that course and consult with them as to what the head can accomplish, along with the "11.1" setup.

Thanks Scott@ Hillside.

Not too fond of Zippers much since I had major issues with the Thundermax with little support. I believe the heads are good but I will have to have some spring work done to accommodate the larger cams. I may give you guys a call to check pricing on boring and some valve springs.

Thanks again,

Bobby

Hammer makes some good cams for Sporties and twin cams. I wouldn't run anything but on a Sporty. I did their JackHammer 570s on a 1250 build and damn near did the same cams on my twincam 103. Their 610s are are great HP camsfor higher compression motors. Most don't realize their Sporty cams are available for twin cams as well.
As for Hammer, their customer service is second to none in my book and I wouldn't hesitate to run their cams or use their services. Great bunch of knowledgeable guys that won't sell you farm if it's not necessary just to make a buck either.
They'll be doing the heads and my 107 bb.
