Default Can’t wait for it to be done lol

I’ll update everyone with a video if I can figure out how to add it when I get her back! I’m beyond stoked. Been kinda lame weather in Illinois lately. Cannot wait for some 70°F+ weather to see what she’ll do.

Default Got the bike back......😯

So far from the ride home I love these cams. They woke it up nicely. I don’t feel like I lost any low end performance, but mid range and top end is ridiculous! It really likes to run now, and I noticed it wasn’t running as hot as it normally does. My power vision was reading about 240 250 whereas it used to get up to 280-305 on hot 80° days beating on it lol. The idle sounds ****in’ nasty. I’ll try and post a video. Now I see why everyone does a cam swap. And now I see why engine mods are addicting!

My plan for my 2009 TC96B Heritage, currently stock with V&H slip ons.

V&H FP3 Tuner ???
Ness Big Sucker intake
D&D Fatcat 2:! pipe
TW 5-6 cam ???

I'm getting to be an old fart, my days of riding fast are over. Mostly day trips close to home. Ride with my wife on her 883 Sporty, almost no interstate riding. I live in the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas. Lots of steep curvy roads with elevation under 2000 feet. Looking for lots of hill climbing torque, almost never in the upper RPM ranges. I'm looking to make the bike run correctly, proper AFR and hopefully run cooler. Is the 5-6 the cam you would recommend for me?

Well, it's been a while. Have you gotten to put some miles on those cams?

she rips! I had my old lady on the back and was riding around 3800 RPMs in first gear and cracked the throttle and the tire came off the ground until I let off lol. It’s definitely more torquey. I wanna get it dyno tuned though. Runs pretty good but I feel like I could get more out of it. I think I’m gonna do a 107 kit over winter as well 🤷🏽‍♂️🤔

I couldn’t figure out how to add the video to the thread so here is the link for anyone that wants to hear it. I have a few videos on my channel.
