Default 103" with 585 tuning problems

Alright everyone. I got my cams installed a few weeks ago on my '16 fxdb and Bought a Power Vision from Fuel Moto. Put nicely then tune they loaded to the bike was all but worthless so i contacted dynojet and got a base tune from them which seems to run better. im having issues with the bike finding idle after it is up to temp. on a cold start it will immediately go to its cold high idle and live there all day with no issues. if you go up the street and come to a stop while it is still in its high idle it will go right to idle just fine. once the bike is up to temp if you come to a stop the bike wants to try to idle at 700-800 rpm, sometimes dipping lower than that, and if you dont hold the throttle part way open for 10-15 seconds it will die, finally after 20-30 seconds of stumbling through a low idle it will finally pick up rpm and idle ok. i got it to act slightly better by adding a couple degrees of timing at idle but im new with HD's and what they want for timing. on a stock 103 with an air cleaner and an enxhaust what is a safe idle timing. for that matter what is a reasonable wide open throttle timing? Also i pulled the plugs on it today and discovered them soaked with fuel. brand new plugs with maybe 30 minutes of run time on them, new plugs wires, coils ohm out as good. it has thrown a code for the front cylinder being too rich. im not sure if its at idle or WOT or cruising when its throwing the code. Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated as im pretty dead set on not paying for a dyno tune till i do a 110" top end hopefully this fall.

Have you done any auto tune runs to see if it improves how the bike runs?
It sounds like there is more issues than just timing

What cam's??? and are you still using the stock narrow band sensors??
My issue was just the opposite. Dynojet tune was terrible and the Fuel Moto was a lot better but still had to do auto tune sessions... These tunes are only a starting point. Do an auto tune session on which ever tune you like best and then load it and then do an auto tune on that one.. It will clean up your issues... I wouldn't mess with the timing till you gat it running properly...

It has the stock narrow bands in it. Cams are S&S 585’s. I did attempt to run auto tune on the fuel moto map, the result was a bike that wouldn’t even start without giving it half throttle and died the instant you let off the throttle.

I would go back to Fuel Moto. They are known for their customer service and I believe they are the best source to sort out the issue.

It sounds like something is very wrong somewhere. I would start with checking the compression front & rear to ensure the cam timing is correct, you will need to disable the ACR's with your Power Vision for this test. I would also inspect & clean the IAC as well. If you would like to run some logs using out tune and submit them thru the Fuel Map support form on our website we're happy to take a look at the data and see if we can spot anything.

Also you might check 02 sensor location , watch head temp sensor if it has one , i feel it may not be a tune issue at all and as all ready stated compression to try an determin a mechanical issue like cam timing etc just a thought .
