Default How do my spark plugs look?

My 2011 deluxe 96b is getting poor MPG.

just swapped my plugs , do they look Normal?

Twin cam Fi bike. Looks normal, and mixture looks good. Possible poor gas (winter blend)

Those plugs look a bit too white to me. Shiny white plugs indicate they’re running too hot, usually from a too lean condition. How long were they in the motor? Are they the correct heat range plug? Plugs should be beige, not white. However I doubt any of this is causing really poor mileage.

Look fine to me. Might be burning a little bit of oil past the rings or intake guides which cause the buildup on the strap but nothing to worry about.

Add:
Could also be oil from breather if run to the AC.

IMO nothing wrong with so cal gas as long as they keep the ethanol low.

not sure how long they were in there, bought it used recently maybe 2 months,

I don't think that's bad around town, you're never getting time in the higher gears to average it out. Get some wind time on it and see what she does.
