AT 10:1 static with a good 2:1 exhaust I am guessing TQ should start ramping up around 2600rpms but having never run that cam, it's an educated guess. Whenever comparing notes or dyno sheets it is important to know the compression for an accurate comparison. The 585 at 9:1 won't act the same as it will at 10:1; for that matter, that can be said for any cam. There are members here running that cam; maybe they will chime in with some ground truth. Probably a dyno sheet or two in the Dyno Room as well.

Andrews 48H might be a good fit at 10-1 ?

I'm looking at helping a friend to do a 96 - 103 big bore and I'm thinking of using the Andrews 54H set at around 10.2 - 10.5 compression, depending ones this cam likes the best. 10.5 puts the motor at 200ccp.

JMHO but I am thinking the 57 would be a better choice; same profile as the very popular 37 but with more lift.

Default Fueling cams

Hey guys...

im doing the same kinda build. The guy I got the bike from had the BB already done. He had the CNC ported heads SE pistons and SE 259 E cams, stock cam plate and pump. I had issues and had to hear her down.

I now have Wiseco domed pistons, oversized rings, went .010 over. HP+ Fueling cam chest with the 574 cams. Found the crank was bad and just ordered a Darkhorse Man o War crank and gunna run lefty bearings on both sides.

Oh, 96-103 BB, 10.5-1 compression

Any feedback as this is my first build?

What's the piston dome CC? Are the heads HD heads or CNC ported by someone else? Chamber volume? There are some who will tell you that you should have the Timken conversion done in lieu of the Lefty bearings, which, of course is good advice. However, I used two lefty bearings in my last 98" build (115/115)and, so far, no issues.

Hey djl!

I do know the heads are the SE ported, not sure of the technical questions. This is my first full build so I’m kinda flyin by the seat of my pants. Have been doing a lot of research and think this might make a good combo. I was just lookin fer some lower range HP/TQ, hope I’ll get what I’m lookin fer! I think fer the dollars the two lefty bearings will handle what I’ll end up with just fine🤷🏼‍♂️
