Thanks Scott, I assume you meant "very tuner friendly" 😉 and was referring to the DDT.
I have to replace my coil anyway, do you suggest a stock oem coil? Or something aftermarket to go with the DTT ignition?

thanks

Stock coils are driven pretty hard, mainly because they bike from the factory are run lean and it's harder to light the mixture. Most of the performance guys use stock coils.
Thanks Max,
I am picking up a replacement coil and keeping my 19 yr old stock coil as a back up...

For a replacement coil to go with my 95" build and DTT ignition - do I get the stock 0.5 Ohm genuine Harley oem coil? Or do I get a single fire 0.5 replacement coil from J&P cycles or do I get the 3 Ohm twin power coil?

Just not sure which works best with the DTT set up and the mods and I'm assuming I'm going to be using the single fire mode? So do I need a single fire coil? Confused.

Thanks for any advice

You should be able to get any 0.5 ohm coil for a carbed twincam that fits your bike. The only experience I have is with the stock HD and DTT coils. The only reason why I tried the DTT coil was that my suspected electrical problem turned out to be carburetor.

Don't buy a 3 ohm coil. It's for EVOs.

All twin-cam coils are single fire.
