Dude, I’m not the kind of guy to just say ****. Was a heads up side by side acknowledged street race. Sorry if egos get hurt. This guy couldn’t even find the nuts to roll up next to me at next light, embarrassed, he thought he was going to eat my lunch. Full disclosure, it was a gradual walk away but a clear one

It's not a "weighted" crank. The internal balancer is a system of sprockets, chain and tensioner and balancers. I don't know anyone that has remove the system and been happy with the results; the motor will shake your teeth out. If you are power hungry, S&S could be the answer or build a 124 on your OEM cases. Consider addressing the crank if you build on your cases and SBC used to "balance" the balancer system. The sprocket that drives the system is interference fit to the crank and can spin so with big power consider welding that sprocket to the crank, or not, there's pros and cons to consider.

I set my rev limiter at 6000rpm and regulatly burn the cobwebs out bumping or nearly bumping it and my normal cruise is around 3000rpm running the 30 tooth from Evolution Industries.
A big bore kit and some headwork are in the plans for the off season to make it a modest but respectable 110+/120+ B motor. Way more power than I need and the 30 tooth makes it scary quick as that 110 found out.
IMO the softail is the ultimate in power and rideability and still feel like you're riding a motorcycle, not a cadilac on 2 wheels. Much better at the slow speed, parking lot maneuverability too.
I’m getting awesome power out of my B motor .. Jt started out as a 96 boat anchor and I scrapped the whole top end and switched it to S&S 110 everything from the cases up including fuel system.. So it definitely Bumps , but I’m looking ahead , because I know I’m gonna go in it all too soon .But the 30 Tooth countershaft might be an option . I’m just curious what you would tack at 80 mph ?

I was not sure so I used "could"; thanks for sorting me out.
