2017 Twin Cam engine in 2001 Road King

Will it bolt up to transmission and engine mounts?

No it won't work.

2017 Touring models have an M8 engine, not a Twin Cam. Even if it was a Twin Cam (say 2016) it still won't work.

A Softail Twin Cam won't work either.

2017 Dynas and Softails still have twincam motors. Still they won't fit.

Add:

You can fit a 07 to 16 bagger drivetrain, motor, tranny , primary, starter into an 01 RK Also a 99 to 06 bagger or 99 to 05 dyna motor only.
