Comfort Lift Install

Comfort Lift Install
Did my comfort lift this morning, thanks Kevin! Not a bad little job, about 2.5 hours which included breakfast, chasing the dog to get my lock-tite back and a 5 mile test ride.
Worst part was getting the two bolts loose that hold the parking brake cable device in place. Those were TIGHT! Finally had to drag out a 1/2" drive 5/16" allen socket and 24" pull handle to break them loose.
Ride and handling are different for sure, curves seem to take less input on the bars and ride is better.
I'll know more once I get some miles in, hopefully this afternoon if the storms don't start like they did yesterday!
:edit: I have a very well equipped shop already and I'm in the process of building a new, bigger one. I WILL invest in a lift table that will hold a trike! The actual install would have taken 45 minutes if I didn't have to lay on the ground.....

One of the best moves I have made so far was to install the Comfort Lift. Improvement in ride AND handling is amazing...
My toughest part was the shock bolts; I could not see any way to torque them, so had to use judgement. Any comments as to how to do this? Otherwise, no issues. A full trike lift would have made it easier, but with a bike jack and a couple of jack stands, got through it with only minor level of discomfort.
P.S Rick... once you get your shop doneI will have another reason to make the ride up :-)

Always good to read how folks are liking our parts.
Yes, they should!
We've been making the most solid TP relo kits for years, and for all that time we talked around the shop that HD should go from the tube style racks for the Tour Paks to a Flat steel design. Allows for adjustment and it's so much stronger.
Well, they finally did it in 2014. Now no one needs our TP relo's for the 2014-up, but it is so much better when a bike comes stock how it should be.
