Thanks but, no thanks. Been there, got the T-shirt and didn't like it. I took a year and a half off after retiring from the service and rode the country. I found it to be way too hot out West. Heck, I rode through some areas of New Mexico that felt hotter than hell it's self. Made me remember why I joined the Navy in the first place, to get away from the oppressive heat of S.C. In the summer. I'm sticking to the right coast because the weather agrees with me.

Yep, I am.... But, in my current location I can ride year-round with heated gloves and leather, and the heat ain't too bad in the summer. The only drawback is its a hellava long way to Sturgis.
