2014 TG start problem

UPDATE:
They said today that they found some sort of a short located in the right side panel(?). My son wasn't exactly sure what they were referring to. In any event they are ordering some part which will take 7 to 10 days to receive so I have no idea what they are replacing. Not very specific at this point. Will have details at some point later. Ay ideas?

Did you ever find out what was the problem. I had a problem similar to this with my 14 tri glide. I started the trike and just started to move and noticed that on the odometer "Check key Fob" came on but the trike was running and it went away immediately. One other time I had my trike in a trailer and went to start it to unload it and it acted like there was no key fob near by, I didn't even get the screen on the gps to come on. I turned ignition switch on and off a few times and no change. I put the trike in neutral and rolled it out of the trailer and once it was out I tried to start it again and it fired right up. The dealer was going to do the 1000 mile service and I told him about the fob alert on the odometer and the trike not starting. When I picked up the trike he said he could no find anything wrong and was not able to get the trike to duplicate the fault. Please keep us informed...thanks

At that point they were able to identify the intermittent problem and ordered the switch housing. Hope that takes care of the problem. He has started it quite a few times since home and so far so good. It needs a good ride to feel comfortable with it.
Hope this helps. Any other thoughts would be appreciated
