I got in a 108 mile round trip. The trip itself wasn't particularly interesting as I have seen it all before (took a circle trip around the outskirts of the city and then a quick jaunt up to the other side of the Sandia Mountains) but the simple fact that I was riding made it all enjoyable. Temps ranged from 43* to 51*. Little chilly but not bad at all. Another storm is due Friday that will make those temps feel balmy.

Rode her down to the shop, picked up a bunch of Christmas boxes. Trunk was full, Tour-Pak was full and passenger seat had a box too big for the TP rack strapped on it. Rode up to Memphis and delivered them to some of our local suppliers. Took the long route home. Perfect day at 60* and sunny for riding around dropping off gifts.

Started to take her out for breakfast, but the weatherman said RAIN, and it was really ugly out. Good call, rained like hell 10 minutes after I left with the Jeep.

Rode about 100 miles of backroads, and another 40 of interstate today.

Last night we had some high winds and a tornado pass thru. Lots of branches and trees down. Debris all over the roads. Wet pine needles can be slippery just like wet leaves.

Sure was nice to be on 3 wheels and not worry about all that stuff.

Went out to the garage and peeked under the cover to make sure she was okay. Wished her a Merry Christmas before starting up my snow blower and cleaning out the drive way AGAIN!! That sucks almost as much as reading about you guys below the snow belt going out for another ride in Dec!! Rant over... Merry Christmas to all... Even those of you that live in all year riding areas...

Went to ride to breakfast this morning ( it was 73* at 0900) and found a FLAT TIRE!! On the rear fortunately, so off I go to the tire store to fix a flat.
