Default Cell Holder

I installed a Ciro smartphone holder, non-charging. Wish I did it sooner.

gee, I want it to be as quiet as a Honda Goldwing.
Well I think I spoke to soon.

Brother no way that's normal. At least on my 2019 it's not. Something is slapping somewhere. I run Redline in all three holes and mine sounds the same as it did on my V-Twins and other M8s.

Oh my. When I mentioned that on later year models the primary seemed louder, I was referring to a whining noise.

That clacking is not right.

We had a bike at the shop a few weeks ago with a random clacking. We thought it was the primary...and we actually pulled the primary cover to inspect the chain, sprockets, chain tensioner and clutch. Could not find anything wrong. Put it back together and still heard the clacking.

It ended up being a nut that had come loose and was bouncing around in a horn enclosure.

Hope you get that noise chased down and it ends up being an easy fix.

Installed my 12” Dominator industries mitered apes. Went as planned. Little struggling with the throttle wires but got it going. Rest was pre wired. Had to reroute the clutch cable and brake line but all works fine. Wayyyy better feel than the mini apes. For my arm length and height it’s the comfort bar for me.
I would do it again.

I'm thinking of getting these, but still deciding between the 10s and the 12s. Can you post a couple of pictures of them on your trike? Thanks.

Swapped the transmission pulley from the stock 30 tooth to a 32T from a 2 wheeler. Added a shim to the compensator while there. Can't tell if the primary is any quieter, but it lowered the cruise rpm about 6%, so 3000rpm is now 75 MPH in 6th, where I like to run on the slab.

this was the 10”, they put my hands right at the level of the top of fairing, the 12” are slightly higher. 1st e pictures are before, next 3 are after. I would say the 10” would be easier on the cables. The12” ones are the max you can install without changing cables but you have to be creative with rerouting the brake and clutch cable and the way they are adjusted are how I like them but any tilt to the rear will make them touch the tank if you have a tank lift. If your tank is not lifted then you could tilt them further back.

Little blurry

Notgrownup,

Thank you very much for the pictures. Your new bars look just like the bars that were on the CVO Street Glide that I traded on my trike, except they were 10 inch. I didn't know what brand they were as I bought the bike used from a dealer. They look just like the Dominators. I liked them so I'll get the 10 inch. Thanks again for the pictures. They really help.
