Put stock windshield on for colder weather, installed DK Customs floorboard spacers, and I removed the left side thigh protector/heat shield for better air flow.
Hopefully heading to Vt for the weekend.

Kevin, the OEM wheel nuts are a chrome trim over a nut? That was bad news in the late 60's. Caused wheels to come loose quickly. Does anyone make an actual lug nut / bolt for the trikes?

That is correct, it is a chrome trim cover over the nut. That is OEM on the Harley Trikes.

I've replaced them with a solid lug nut that is chromed, as pictured above. Have done well over a thousand miles on the solid lug nuts and checked them a few times with the torque wrench. They are holding well.

Hate to say it, but I got them on Amazon...not made in the USA. They are

MIKKUPPA 1/2-20 Lug Nuts

  • 🚗 SPECIFICATION - 1/2-20 thread - closed end bulge style lug nuts - conical 60 degree seat - 19mm hex - 1.4 in. long - 0.87 in. wide - color: silver/chrome. Our nuts have an innovative design in appearance due to personal preference, but the thread specifications fully meet vehicle standards, buy with confidence.
  • 🚗 ANTI-OXIDATION - Triple chrome, cold forged and heat treated steel(anti-rusting and anti-stripped, high strength and durability). Precisely machined threads ensure a perfect fit on your vehicle's wheel studs. It's even perfect for professional mechanics.

Moved it outside to knock some of the dirt from TX, AZ, NM, CO, & UT off of it. Want to have it clean for the upcoming Open House.

I removed the yellow reflectors on the front fork sometime ago. I just removed the red reflectors on both rear fenders.
