Yesterday we shot some footage for a video we are working on...How To Ride A Trike-Important Things to Know when Moving from Two Wheels to Three Wheels.
It was only the second time Dwayne had ridden a Trike (first time was just 3 minutes).
This time we rode for about 30 minutes, some back country roads, an open parking lot, and some 75 MPH interstate riding.
Here are a few still shots captured from video.
He caught on pretty quickly and had a blast.

Finally got around to addressing an issue that I've experienced recently of my Freedom Shield "Touring" windshield drooping down and riding on the top of the inner fairing.
Simple fix of using those little clear plastic furniture protectors to increase the gap between the two surfaces.
If this doesn't work out I guess I'll removed the windshield and do some light hand sanding on the two lower corners of the windshield just to remove an 1/8th of an inch or so of the windshield.
Hoping for a late afternoon or evening ride if the weather allows it.

Best color I've ever seen on a Trike. I had a down payment on one just like it until my financial advisor said I couldn't afford it because I had just retired. Almost thought about going back to work - then common sense took over and I stayed with black.
Can't wait to see his review.

I ordered some new lug nuts. I have removed the rear wheels so many times for various tests, the lug nuts are literally worn out.
Here's a photo of one of the OEM 2 Piece Lug nuts.
They have an outer "chrome" colored shell. Over time, and because sometimes I used a 3/4" socket instead of the better fitting 19mm socket, that outer shell gets deformed.
Here's a pic of 2 new vs. 2 of the old lug nuts.
All new and torqued down. Need to retorque them after riding 50 or so miles. (manual says 100 miles, but I generally don't wait that long)
Got more than I need...only have two wheels of 4 each.
Still have more little maintenance things to do before the ride out west in 13 days.
