Had to replace the battery. What a P.I.A. take the battery out without the battery removal strap. Trike was purchase new and the MOCO never installed one. I used two plastic tie straps on the terminals to pull it out. Went to the dealer to get a battery removal strap, a $7.00 item.

My '18 TG will get a new battery at the start of next season.
The old battery will go in my generator.
I've had the battery out once and I think that I also used the plastic tie straps.
As I remember, removing the battery from the TG was no where as bad as removing the one one on my CVO Ultra!

Just had my battery replaced under warranty. I pulled it out and took it to my local dealer.
With the strap it was fairly easy.
They tested it and said it was bad. Gave me a new one.
Warranty ends in march, before I would even get it out of hibernation.

I hear you. I really don't need a destination, just get out and ride for an hour or so. I do find that the farther you get away from civilization(?) the better it is to find a place that doesn't give a $hit about "lockdowns".
We have plenty of those in this area - - THANK GOD
Hope you beat that Chinese virus.

TOHOG: you're right about the roads being dry. Have you tried S100 Corrosion Protectant?? If you use that you wouldn't have to wash after every ride.

Ordered Split View Mirrors.
I had them on my Road Glide Ultra and really liked them.

First thing I added to my troglide when I got it really gives you a better view of everything around you. Triglide should come with them from the factory

I inatalled the optional fairing mounted mirrors on my TG.
They hook into the chrome piece than crosses just under the windshield.

Part numbers 56000091 & 57400254.

When I purchased the "touring model" recurved windshield from Freedom Shields I really lucked out as the clearance between the outer edges of the windshield clear the mirrors by "a hair"!

I went out and wiped it down after using some ceramic wax on it. To cold and salty to ride here.
