My '18 TG will get a new battery at the start of next season.
The old battery will go in my generator.
I've had the battery out once and I think that I also used the plastic tie straps.
As I remember, removing the battery from the TG was no where as bad as removing the one one on my CVO Ultra!

Combined with the "lockdown" that we're having with restaurants and bars there's nowhere to actually "ride to", I've just tested positive for the CHinese Wuhan Virus, I'm sittin' inside on my ***, drinking whatever and playing on the 'puter 'till things improve, hopefully by spring!
We have plenty of those in this area - - THANK GOD
Hope you beat that Chinese virus.
TOHOG: you're right about the roads being dry. Have you tried S100 Corrosion Protectant?? If you use that you wouldn't have to wash after every ride.

I inatalled the optional fairing mounted mirrors on my TG.
They hook into the chrome piece than crosses just under the windshield.
Part numbers 56000091 & 57400254.
When I purchased the "touring model" recurved windshield from Freedom Shields I really lucked out as the clearance between the outer edges of the windshield clear the mirrors by "a hair"!
