From memory, I think it's 1/4" NPT...might be 5/16", check with us on Monday.

Summit Racing has anodized fittings.

We use the brass because they seal better than steel. Lots of folks use aluminum....BUT, aluminum can fatigue and crack with the harmonic vibes that a Harley produces.

Might be easiest to paint the brass black.

Thanks Kevin...I ordered the combination from Kelsey on Friday.. I will probably paint them then with stove paint.

My reverse has been going bad for a few months now.

Finally dropped the TG off at the dealership yesterday for a warranty replacement.

What's the issue with your reverse? Is the the motor bad? If mine goes again I am going mechanical.

I painted mine black ,then a clear coat I hope they hold up I haven't put them on yet.

Motor is giving up the ghost. Very weak and erratic, battery is good, cables are good, it's the motor.

It is under warranty, and I like the electric just fine when it works...so I'm letting them put a new one in at no cost to me.

On my '11 it went out under warranty also...got a new one on it too.
