He may have an 09 - 10 which came with the 32 tooth and were dogs in 6th gear below 75 mph on flat ground and 80+ mph going up hills. The 1st year I had my 10 I down shifted on almost every hill riding I71 & I65 through KY on the way to Nashville with the wife. Following years after swapping the 32 tooth for a 30 tooth, cam and tuning I never down shifted once on the same roads.

I've always known that it is possible to get the front wheels up into the breeze on a
TG but have refrained from doing so. Not wanting that possible expense of a belt replacement. I was in a dealership in So Cal and one of the service managers was bragging about popping a wheelie on a customer's Trike. He's very fortunate that he never did it in mine. Awesome pics, by the way.

Yeah, I might not find them so much fun if I snap a belt.

btw, how do you know they did not wheelie your TG?

Good question, DK. But after him telling me that, I asked him to please not do it on my TG. At any rate, your guess is as good as mine

Thanks for the post and the pics. Looks like a lot of fun just don't think I will be trying it. Last wheelie I remember doing was on a 350 Kawasaki 45 years ago. It wasn't mine which is why I guess I didn't mind doing them?

I see your point...but all my bikes are have fun bikes...otherwise I would not have/keep them.

At 55, and having nearly died 3 years ago from a rogue cager t-boning me on the interstate, I have a new perspective.
