So take an oil thread and change the word oil to wax. I would highly recommend Turtle wax. It's the cheapest and works as well as any wax. They all wash off after a couple washes. I wax mine every time I wash just so it's easier to wash the bugs off. And I like mine to look like a garage queen every day and anywhere I ride.

The turtle wax ice works great! I've used it on my bikes since it came out.

I use Mothers w/carnauba. Smooth apply and lasts long time. Beads up real good in the rain.

Any good carnauba wax will serve you well. Clean surface, apply in straight motion, waxie on/waxie off....
I like Mothers, Maguriers (sp), Turtle....there used to be a brand called Eagle One that was 100% pure carnauba but I havn't seen it in a long time, Eagle One is still out there, but not the 100%...

If you use Turtle Wax Ice the bugs all but fall off on their own, great stuff. A friend of mine here at work detailed cars on the side and after I turned him on to using Turtle Wax Ice he could not believe how good it worked. It made he life a lot easier for repeat customers.

Turtle Wax and Dry. Spray it on a wet bike after washing, leaves a beautiful waxed finish. Smells good too. Quick and easy.
