Easy install and one of the more useful mods I have done. They should come from the factory with these.

Yes,switched to the magnetic ones and like the way they work as for their install it's pretty straightforward(I was watching while the mechanic was doing it!).

I had considered getting the locking ones, but didn't want to fool with getting my key out every time I wanted something from there. As said these should be installed from the factory. They are a great mod and easy to install, only hard part was cutting the old snaps out.

I have locking glove box covers (hog trough) and liners from HD...only keep insurance papers, registration, AMA and HOG cards in one, seldom open..no biggie! The left one is empty.

I got the locking ones, I love them. In one I keep my ez pass, wire for connecting my iphone to the aux port, pen, notepad, etc. The other is empty for now.

I noticed that you do have to make sure they're properly shut and locked. I closed one once and it wasn't locked, had it open the minute I pulled away.

Magnetic covers work great ... Don't waste your money on the liners ... I have them ... By the time they're in you've lost 25% of the room the room that you had!

I put the liners in when I switched to the magnetic covers. The liners are a little bit of a pain to put in - you really do have to basically wad them up to get them in. But - they fit well once installed. I'm not sure how much good they actually do but at least your stuff isn't sitting on hard plastic (or fiberglass).
