Default Using a Car Lift For a Trike?

Might be a dumb question, but has anyone come up with a way to lift a trike with a 2-post auto lift? I've got one in my garage and thinking about it...

im sure all you need to do is fab up a brace to look like a pitbull stand and can do it from one side....I know on the roadsmith there is shock mounts where the pads can go ..and the front under the engine frame..

The only thing I can visualize is with the 2 post lift, it wouldn't give you much room to get to either side of the trike to work on it

I'm more interested in getting under it, even if just for fluid changes..after my accident, getting on my knees doesnt happen anymore, not yet anyway, I've got an idea floating around in my head that may work, stay tuned

Make a double wheel cradle that will go between each side for the rear wheels, and a single wheel cradle for the front to go between the other set of arms. Be sure to fasten the frames to the arms securely !
You are going to have to ramp up & over the cradles to mount the hoist .

Pretty much what I'm thinking, and tie the 3 frames together with 1x1 steel tube or something like it basically making a triangle with a box at the 3 points...The ends of my lift arms (Mohawk lift) have 1 1/4" holes in them so fastening them wont be an issue, 3/8" or 1/2" thick ears on top and bottom of the boxes with holes for 1 1/4" bolts....Question is what to make the boxes out of, I have plenty of 1"x1" steel tube kicking around, I know that would hold the front end, not sure about the back end though, could pick up some 1"x2" rectangle tube, might be overkill though...

If the rear wheels fit on the 2 side platforms all you would need is a bridge to hold the front I would think?

A friend of mine lifts his trike on a car lift by putting the rear wheels in the usual places, and putting a heavy load sling under the yoke of the trike between the parts of the lift that would lift the front wheels of a car - simple, and requires no mods to the lift.
