Finished with Cat gut and Power Commander
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just finished the installation of the Power Commander. Already had 3 1/2" Rineharts and SE intake, and had just gutted the cat.
1st impressions:
1. Throttle response much improved. I can actually pratice the friction zone now. Not that it's needed on the TriGlide, but it is sure good on the Limited.
2. It was a cool day today, 72, but Limited and trike both seemed noticably cooler on the right, especially the trike.
3. Feel of a modest increase in power but certainly not 14 hp that I have seen advertised. But in fairness, I aready had the air cleaner and pipes so I wouldn't expect to see a lot more power with just the Commander and cat gut.
Got the PCV from Fuel Moto and all was very satisfactory. These guys seem to be very knowledgable, and everything was as advertised and timely.
Time will be the big decider, but am very pleased with the first ride.

Tuning with a pcv is very flexible. My tune is written so when I'm hard on the throttle it runs rich but when cruising it leans out, maximizing fuel economy.
My 106 has 107hp/115tq and gets 50mpg highway. You may want to catalog and send fuel moto your info so they cam fine tune your combo. Right now it will be close, but with a few datalog sessions they can dial you right in,as good as a dynotune if you give them enough info.
