Was wondering what folks use for luggage in the Tri Glide Trunk. I have various TBags when I was riding an Ultra and I also have the Harley Davidson Bags for the Tri Glide trunk. Just seems there should be a better bag to better fit the trunk. I haven't found any third party luggage specifically designed for the Tri Glide trunk.

I have the HD bags for trunk...only use for storing tools/cover/rain gear/etc. Use a duffle bag for short trips for clothes. Use a T-Bag that sits on the passenger section and straps to the hand rails for longer trips.

 

I have an extra tour pack bag that we use in the trunk it works better than the trunk bags .

 

I'm fairly happy with the HD luggage for the trunk. I also have a bag for the luggage rack on my tour pack.

 

The HD trunk luggage fits inside nicely. Some of the owners have said they used their saddlebag liners along with the trunk luggage and every thing fit great. A freind of mine uses her older HD rigid tbag for the back seat. On long rides, my trunk contains a spare jacket, rainsuit, first aid kit, extra pair of boots, small tools and usually my backpack with my computer and Kindle. I don't want everything in one bag. I save that for the TourPac. The TourPac bag that came with my bike works well for holding my clothes and toiletries. I stuff smallies such as a 5-Hour Energy bottle, spare sunglasses, a doo-wrap, and my regular glasses around the outside of it.

I don't want everything in one bag on the trunk. When I get to a hotel, I grab my clothes bag from the TourPac, then the computer backpack from the trunk and I'm done.

I need to option of quickly locating items like tools, the rain suit, or the first aid kit without tearing everything out of the trunk.

 

I bought two cloth gym bags at a sports store. Store all my stuff in them and still have room for my drink cooler and room above for extra jackets. Works good and cheap.

 

Before the trikes we bought a pair of T-Bag rolling cases with collapsable handles we strap them in the passenger seat trunk has tools, and 'warmies' if needed

 

That sounds like a good idea but I don't think my passenger would like things strapped in her lap.

I guess piling the stuff on the ground and using the snow shovel to scoop it in isn't kosher?
