Toying with the idea of having the dealer do the street legal or race only stage 4 kit before I take delivery of my TG, the SE catalog states the street legal kit doesnt affect warranty, if they give me the same deal on the race only kit I'd go that way...Thoughts? Suggestions? Please save the "It doesnt need that much power etc" comments, I'm a high horsepower/high torque addict......

I just looked at this kit and I'm not sure what a stock 103 puts out for HP but this stage 4 kit says that it puts out 103 HP and that seems really good for $1800. You can never have too much POWER ! ! !

 

If you get the 2013 SE catalog on page 46 they show comaprisons of stock Vs stage IV hp and tq. Also says will not fit Trike. Thats for the $1800 street legal setup.
On page 51 , the race only section, stage IV, another comparison chart and doesnt say anything about Trike, $2250.

A little confusing to some.

I can't get on HD's site, says server not found. I'm wondering if they says except trike because there is an emissions issue when installed on the trike. I'd imagine the difference between the street legal and the race kit will be the tuner. The street legal kit will have their street performance tuner vs the race kit having the race tuner. The street performance tuner will only allow the dealer to use a canned map which will not allow them to optimize the tune.

 

A canned tune for now is fine, I'm planning to get a Power Vision tuner when I order my air cleaner, headpipes and mufflers from FuelMoto...
