Wife and I live on the High Desert in Southern California, and have a house is South-West Arizona. It is hot here and there in the summer, fortunately very low humidity...
We both have Harley Mesh jackets with armored elbows and shoulders. Wind passes right through them. We also have Harley Hydro Vests. Soak them for about 5 minutes, it takes about an hour to evaporate the water, cooling your upper body 15 to 20 degrees. Wouldn't ride out here without one!!
Short rides it is a tank top and shorts.....
