don't you have to back the trike on so that the ramps will fit right?

Great information here. What are folks using to lift the trike? I would like some additional clearance but have not yet invested in a lift. Any ideas?

Without a lot of investment, the ramps are the way to go. I also have a motorcycle jack that is rated at 1500#. When I have to work on the front of the Trike, I lift the front up after I am on the ramps with the rear, & put a 3rd ramp under the front wheel. This gives you a working height great for a sit down roller seat. When you're done you can back off all three at once carefully ! Also the bike jack will lift the rear up for taking the tires off.
Even with a lift you need a screw scissor jack to lift either front or rear in the air to get the wheels off & on while on the lift.

I see on some of the forums someone is offering a lift for around $1200 + shipping. But I think you have to buy the trike adapter rails for the sides.
I am in the process of building my own lift. It will run around $700 by the time I finish...... I have a lift from Harbor Freight that works great for 2 wheel bikes, but it is only rated at 1000#. But I see the price is as low as $300 plus..... Otherwise you can find them from about $1800 & up.
