I looked on Dennis`s site Tri Glide Stuff and did not see the deflectors, can anybody tell me why.

Here are the black wrinkle powder coated on my 2012 Black TG, When the pic was made the baffle under the trees was in the "Silver Vain" powder coat, I switched it to the blk wrinkle also.

 

Just added the lift from DK, I went from 3" to 6" ground clearance at the pipe. The handling is amazing, the steering is a lot easier, feels more like a bike than the handling of a trike, very smooth! I really don"t understand why Harley doesn't put them on as stock.

 

Guys I want these lift brackets real bad, but I just cannot for the life of me understand how raising the center of gravity of an already somewhat "tippy" vehicle does not hurt the handling, much less make it better.

Somebody please help me understand if you will.

 

Tippy?? No way.

 

OK, tippy-ish. You know what I mean.

 

A TG is a very stable platform. They are not tippy by any stretch of the imagination.

 

I'm confused. By adding an 1 1/4" lift how did you go from 3" to 6" ??

 

OK. Poor choice of words on my part.

But help me understand how raising up the CG makes it handle better. It's just counter-intuitive.
