Default Wings and Baffles Review.

I live in an area of the country where I can ride most days in warmer weather.Something I have noticed is that the TG has more buffeting than most 2 wheelers.I think this is caused by the extended rake of the TG.One of our members here Dennis Swan who has several great products for the TG has two new items.I live in a warm but windy part of the country in the winter. The Rio Grand Valley. The bad thing is it is tiring to fight that wind as well as making the steering a little touchy.

First install was the regular rounded HD baffle with Dennis's extension it helped.

Next I tried the wider larger version that was much more efficient in reducing the buffeting situation.Since then Dennis has sent a narrower in depth version that seems to really fill the bill.

Now for my favorite in the looks and function dept. The TG WINGS look good and really send that turbulence away and down from my eyes and chest.Though available in chrome I am using the powdercoat model. They look like they belong on the TG.Often at night here it is cold and damp.I can adjust my lower vents and keep my feet and my wife's legs toasty warm without that burning hot feeling.

Install on both of these items is very, very simple.

Some of the features of these products are:

Radio is clearer
My wifes backseat driving is easier to hear..
Less fatigue on a long ride....

Haven't ridden in the rain with these items installed but am sure more protection from the elements.

I will review these again when more miles are ridden.

Here's a front on shot of the deflectors, but I don't think you can see the baffle, which is kinda cool. Really tucks in nicely.

Here's a side shot. The powder coated version REALLY blends in. Here you can see the baffle. I had a larger version when this picture was taken. Believe the one I have now is 1/2 the size. Looking in, it only is 1 inch below the crash bar. Perfect for me.

Is there a link or a number for these lift kits?

I have a frind who has a trike and he definitely needs to get his trike raised up a little to keep his pipes from dragging.

Was going to do it today. Saw a bracket to hold parking brake cable. Will the bracket fit with the lift kit?

Everything will fit right up with no problems.

I installed my lift brackets yesterday afternoon and took a test ride. The trike sits level and the pipes are raised enough to prevent dragging in reasonable situations. The handling seems to be unaffected. We will give it some exercise on the Blue Ridge Parkway this weekend.
