It is hard to please everyone. If they came stock I would change them. I replaced th stock ones already with a set that has a 2" rise and 2" pull back. I love them and so do my shoulders.

One of my riding partners has 14" apes on his tri glide; he loves them. He is 6'3" if that makes any difference. He said they solved his back and shoulder problems. I'm fine with the stock bars, but I'm only 5'9". I guess its really an individual choice

I ordered my TG in December '08, took delivery in March '09. Had ridden an ECG w/Voyager kit before purchase, so transferring to the TG was not an issue.

.....on your handlebar change....did you have to lengthen the wires...or what did you do...i wanna change my bars..and i would like to know how much wire i have in the bike.....my preference is not CUT any wires.....and or not to have to change wires either ???

There was no problem with the wires, they did not need to be lengthened. I had to have the clutch and brake cables changed which I didn't mind as I wanted braided stainless steel cables anyway.

I'm an apehanger fan, ride behind 20's on my Heritage and just put these 15's on the boss mans 07 SE trike. Rides awesome!
