Default Trio of mods

Its been a productive weekend working on the Tri Glide. I removed the parking brake assy. I then installed the lift brackets. Last mod was the solenoid push button. Everything was made much easier using the table lift I purchased from Greg Smith Equipment.

Lift makes a huge difference, saves the knees.

Like I have stated before, my place is empty because you guys have it all. I am going to have to save my pennies and have one of these.
Need to sell allot of glass grinding equipment so I would have a nice separate area for it and trike.
Dreaming again!

I love the lift kit. I have not noticed anything dramatic in the handling department. However, I think that has a lot to do with the unique nature of handling on a trike in general. I perceive it has a bit more "bite" on the front tire, and that's a good thing.

I have found the ride much smoother, and my wife has noted a more comfortable ride when 2-up. We can ride 2-up with the shocks set at 30 psi instead of maxed out at 50 psi required pre-lift kit.

The pipes no longer scrape on minor bumps like my driveway. When you combine the lift kit with the TourPak lifts, it is obvious to me I am far more visible from the rear as my lights are more directly pointed back at the cars coming from behind.

I installed the HD light switch that makes all the lights in the rear of the trike part of signaling and braking. I'd install the lift kits for the safety factor alone.

+1 on more bite. Just got back from a trip to Reno and back. Lots of 55mph curves at 65mph on the I-80 over Donner Pass. Since installing the lift, the front tire feels more solid than before. I pretty much drive it the same as always, but it just feels more sure of itself now.
