Las vegas bikefest
The count-down clock is ticking. Tomorrow in the AM, wife and I are off to a long weekend of parties, bands, vendors, riding, and debauchery. Going to meet up with about 40,000 of our closest friends to rock em, sock em, and boogie till we puke. It is REALLLLLLLLY hard to have a bad time in Las Vegas!

Well, so far so good. Great ride, just over 300 miles. Another heat test, Baker Grade, from 1500 feet to 4000 feet. 6% grade up. Air temp was 101* going 70 mph. Trike never got to the 2 of 260
Las Vegas is the party city of the world. They expect 45,000 bikes this weekend Fremont St. (main drag downtown) was nuts, and it is only Thursday..... more to come

Our Group just got back from the Bikefest, We had a blast on Fremont street from Thursday until Sunday.
That trike that Paul Yaffe is working on was on display at the Cashman center I can respect the work that goes into a custom but it would be just a barhopper in my opinion.
We rode over from Lake Havasu Az. and there was 2 of the couples that went with us that was giving me crap about everyone having to wait on the Trike to catch up.
I just told them I would get there eventually and smiled.
There is a pretty twisty canyon between Laughlin and Hwy.95 and by the time we got to the next gas stop in Searchlight they all wanted to know more about Tri-Glides and there was one of the naysayers that is actually wanting to trade his Ultra because he is tired of fighting the wind and he said that my wife and I looked very comfortable going down the road, I just laughed and told him to try keep up next time.
