If my memory isn't failing me I owned one of them in the mid sixties. It was a convertible with a 348 tri-power 4 gear. It was awsome. Obviously I wish I still owned it.
I had an uncle that owned a 58 Impala, always thought it was one of Chevy's finest! Yes, we all have the one's we should have kept story I'm sure. I don't know how I ended up with so many early on, who knew?
1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible-Jr year in High School
1960 Impala Convertible 3-2 barrel, 348 car-Sr. Year
1961 Impala convertible
1966 Chevelle Convertible SS
1972 Nova SS
I bought to sell or traded for many others back in the day, flip em and make a few hundred, thought I was making money! Should have stored a few good examples back hindsight being 20/20!
I don't guess they were classics when we owned em!

I owned a 1966 Sport Satellite ( Plymouth ) with a 383 Hy-Po in it. Great car. Looked at a 1970 Hemi Cuda but didn't buy it. Bought a 1970 Sport Satellite instead. Would have drove the Cuda for a few years and sold it. Who would have known what they were going to be worth.
geez...2 jet skis, polaris le, granddaughter's scooter, daughters honda 750, wifes 2012 trike, my 2010 road king, and last but certainly not least...my mastercraft x80.
A broken Triumph and a un restored 56 Chevy wagon.
Man... I almost bought a Triumph Tiger back in 1967. Wish I had, and wish I'd kept it along with my '68 BSA 650 Thunderbolt, '69 Sportster XLH, 1970 'Cuda 383 Magnum... *sigh*
