Keep the '09, install a 30 tooth pulley, cam, lifters and tuner as the Sockos have done. You will have a better running trike that holds its value and spend less than getting the '12, IMHO.

OK I have talked the Boss (She who cashes my pay checks) into Upgrades on the 09.

I figure for the $10,769.38 we would spent on the new one we can do a nice customization on the 09.

So the Upgrades shall begin!

Olmsocko it has 21,588 miles on it.

Ain' nobody cashes my pay check no more since 1995. Thank the Lord for that. Im free to do with my money what I want. Now as far as the 09 keep it do the 30T save your money and see what Harley has comming out in the next couple of years. I see no big difference in the 2011-2012 except for the colors.

One thing you have is the first year model. You can farkle what you have and get much more value. The TG's seem to hold value.Get the 30T first.

Good luck whatever your decision.

Sounds like you have a wise Boss. IMO there is not enough difference between your 09 and a 12 to move up, the only good thing the 12 has is the 300 tooth sprocket, the bad is the catalytic converter.

My 09 has the cat. the California models had them in 09 and the MOCO sent the dealer here in Yuma a California Model apparently.

It was the first one to make their showroom floor in Sept. 08 and I happened to be in getting maintenance on my 94 EGUC and figured the Boss might like the Tri-glide since her knee surgery's it would probably be easier for her to get on and off of.

I call her the Boss as a joke around the local Harley shop and riding friends because they all know how much she spoils me and takes good care of me. I'm lucky to have her. We have 39 years together.

Bummer your dealer was given a CA model, you can ditch the cat easy enough with a head pipe change.
