Does anyone know why Harley says the Road Zep will fit the TriGlide, but will not fit the Street Glide Trike? Same frames. What would be different as far as the seat fitting?

 

I have the Zep and the TG.I really like it.Is the XXX a streetglide frame?If so is the RZ available for a street glide?Often it will fit with slight modifaction.Your dealer should see what would make it work.Other liked seats are Hammock and Mustang.Hope this helps.

Street Glide, Electra Glide, TriGlide, etc., are all the same basic frame. I am just wondering why HD says the Road Zep won't fit the FLHXXX when it has the same frame as the TriGlide. Of course, there are a lot of accessories that HD says won't fit trikes, but they do. Again, wondering if there is a real difference that would prevent installing the Road Zep on an FLHXXX?

 

HD says a lot of things won't fit the trikes, but it will...says the backrest won't fit...have one on mine....might try it first.

 

Don't have $500.00 to waste trying it. I need to have some reasonable assurance that it will fit.

 

Only thing I could think of it fitment issues with the passenger back rest.
