Default Hope I'm done

Well I finally got my pipes wrapped, should have done this at the beginning, my oil temperature gauge installed and my shock lifts on. Really like the way the bike sets now and it just feels better going into hard corners. Steering seems a little heavier but response seems quicker. Right leg feels cooler but have not got a chance to get it out in really hot weather yet. Took it for a test ride when completed but it was only 80 degrees. I was running 70 in 6th,3000 RPM and my oil temperature was 230. I still am questioning if I need to upgrade the oil cooler. At what oil temperature do you feel is excessive? I plan to be out this weekend with air temperatures around 95 degrees. I now have a little over 6000 miles on my trike and I really like it.

If your running a good synthetic oil your good to go, I wouldn't want to see oil temps much higher than 250 - 260 in heavy stop and go traffic.

I'm also thinking of upgrading the stock oil cooler, I'm running 230 - 240 oil temps,
just wondering if going to a Jagg oil cooler over the stock HD cooler would improve
oil temps.

I and M3 upgraded to the 10 row Jagg oil cooler and we feel it is worth the money. It does a better job of cooling the oil.
