They want $300 Danbury Harley Thats what my friend paid last year. To have it done on his 10 TriGlide. I did my own for $70 using all Harley fluids Syn in the engine,Formula+ in the trans and primary. And a black premium oil filter. Was able to reuse the gasket on the derby cover.

i just paid £ 219 , in england for a 1 k on my fat bob , $300 seems about right , its supposed to be a big service and books at 2 hours , my **** , it took the guy 1 and a half hours , working at a snails pace ,and that included a 10 minute test ride , more or less an oil change after run in period , and check that all the bolts are torqued up correctly , I'm using a local Indy from now on ,

Thats baad, anyone thinking about a new bike must factor that in during the purchase negotiations.Find someone who does there own and buy your parts and have them show you how.Give them $50 or $100 you will both be happier.
After I get a price I will pay for the bike,I close with either parts discount for 30 days,or maintenance usually they will give one or both to you.
That type of ripoff happens at far too many dealerships and I would tell everyone and never go back.

My 2011 is a couple weeks old and as of today I only have 650 miles on it. When it gets close to 1000, I will do my own. I have done my own service on every bike I have owned for the last many years. Not only do I enjoy doing my own service, but I know it will be done right with no short cuts. So far I'm real happy with the Tri-Glide. Need to get some pictures so i can change my sig.
