Default Yes, I did it!

I made my decision today, and I really appreciate all the input from everyone who took the time to express their opinions and answer my questions. After looking at Gold Wings, conversion kits, and even a Can Am, I ended at the HD dealer and signed the papers this afternoon. I went to the Roadsmith dealer this morning with the intention of going that route, but I just had a problem with the $16,000.00 plus bottom line, so I bought a Vivid Black Tri Glide for $30,495.00 plus some "insentives",out the door and they delivered it in their truck to my home which is 45 miles away. I had my car and no way to get the trike home. My wife is out of town! Surprise! I will ask $16.000.00 for my Road King, because of all the extras on it, and I don't mean bling. I have good results in the past selling my bikes. This is my 5th. Harley and four of them have been vivid black and one was birch white. I know there are some issues, but, like everyone else, I will deal with them. Once the "dust settles" and I do the 1000 mile service, I will contact Jamie at Fuel Moto Co. and start the mods. I do have one additional question. Which drivers backrest will work on the Tri Glide?
Thanks, Bill

Default New Tri

You will like the Tri-glide, We do about the same mods on all Harley's and you knew what your were buying into. It's and EPA thing not to worry!

You got a good deal and a good Trike, be careful out there!

We installed an adjustable backrest right out of the HD catalog, and we are happy with it.

I installed the one I had on my 08 Harley Ultra. It was a non-adjustable one and it works just fine.

Congratulations. I know you will be happy with it. It is a shame they still didn't offer the Sun Glow Red in 2011.It would have been a nice change for you. I'm not sure why but I like that color.

Congratulations on your new ride. You will love it. I just had my backrest installed by the dealer. It is the adjustable type which I recommend as slight adjustments during rides, provides a lot of comfort in long rides. Have fun and be careful.
