Thumbs up Ceramic Coating

I have the Jackpot header and I had it jet hotted silver. It does help with the heat and looks cool also. Its covered up but I think it was worth it. Jerry

Default Not worth the cost

The performance gain will be negligible! You will observe a reduction in radiated heat for rider comfort but can probably obtain the same result by wrapping with High Heat Header Wrap and Sealing. The cost difference is substantial for the same effect.

I can get the ceramic coating for under a hundred buckand that is with the cross over pipe and the right side extension I had the H D with the cat wraped and it was about 85.00 to do that , so for the extra 20 it should be worth it.

Default Wrap Vs Ceramic

Ceramic has no maintenance, wrap does. It is a bi-ch to get those heat shields off to recoat the wrap. Plus trying to spray the wrap on the scooter without getting it on other stuff would be impossible. Not worth the savings IMHO. Heat reduction is close to the same. I think the ceramic is an option now with Fuelmoto, I had JetHot do mine it was not an option when I purchased mine.

For my nickel I would elect the option as they do quality work.

I believe the optional HTC coating is $100.00 extra from Fuelmoto. It was not offered when mine came off backorder. My local guy did them for $100.00 and I wrapped them as well. No special reason, just thought the double insulation could not hurt anything.
