Minor adjustments are done at the handle by rotating the **** otherwise it is back at the wheels.

The annoying thing to me about the parking break is, it was a problem on the old 72 Servi-car I had and then it is a problem on the new 09 TG I bought. I sure would have thought they might have figured out how to do it right after having it wrong before.
I always parked the Servi-car in gear and just do the same now with the TG.

I also leave the bike in gear when it is parked.

Mike, thanks, but I don't think I could plow through all that snow you got up there!

Good instructions in the owners manual, no need to pop for the service manual

It is always a good investment to purchasing the service manual if you plan on doing any work yourself.

Owners manual has minor adjustment for parking brake. But if the brake no longer holds, you will have to do the Park Brake Adjustment (Section 1.12) from the Service Manual. After putting new brake pads on the trike I adjusted the parking brake. On page 1-19 in the FLHTCUTG Service Manual under Park Brake, make sure that you pay special attention to #2 (the set screw is inside the brake handle, this loosens cable) and #5 when doing the procedure. Worked like a charm. The parking brake holds again!
