Default Removing Fairing Mirrors

What is the best way to patch the inner fairing where the mirror was bolted? I found some medallions that stick on but they look tacky. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jerry

Local hardware store, like Lowes, you can pickup small plastic or rubber plugs and cover the holes...best way is to traded someone the inner fairing and mirrors for their stock one....

When I mistakenly installed those mirrors on my TG Ultra (I found my chubbie bars were blocking the mirror view), I was able to find flat plastic plugs to cover the larger holes and small wooden dowels painted flat black at the tip for smaller holes. Can't tell they are there. Use RTV silicone adhesive from the inside of fairing.

In stead of just blocking the holes for those mirrors in your inner fairing with plastic plugs. I made the cover over them functional. I used small fish eye mirrors. Helps me see within the blind spots.

This is what I have so far but not satisfied with it. They are sort of curved gas cap covers.

RJ,
What have you got for handlebar mirrors? Looks like you've got pretty good outward reach for good rear view. I believe you have the same bars as me - Wild1 WO575?

Yeah we have the same handlebars. I got the mirrors on ebay for 59.00 a pair at that time. I love em. They don't vibrate at all and reach out fine. Here's a link to the MIRRORS They're just not the price I paid.
