Default K&N

I have the screaming eagle ventilator air cleaner. My harley dealer told me K&n does not make a replacement filter yet. I called k&n and its true they havn't. Does anybody know of an after market similar thats available? K&n will notify me when the filter is in production. It might help if more requests are put in, K&N---1-800-218-5181

I was under the impression K&N filters are life time or at least 100,000 mile filters. You may have to clean and reoil under heavy use. Why do you need to replace the air filter element so soon?

Yep, I have the same filter with the I'm sure will self destruct Harley Paper element. I'm also waiting for K&N to step up to the plate and make a replacement filter, I guess I'll have to give them a call and yank their chain.

You may not have to wait too long. According to a post on the touring forum The MOCO is going to start selling K&N filters with HD part #'s in the near future. You would think that K&N would have to make a replacement then.
