That sounds pretty close to the norm of 5mph off with the 30t change. If you already have the speedo cal unit you can adjust the speed some without losing your light, if you lose your light just back up a step. The pulley change and speedo cal should have no effect on your cruise.

I'm getting my pulley replaced by dealer on 11/11---a notable date for all. It's also the 1st anniversary of my TG purchase. And yes, I will be a guinea pig for this install. They haven't done a TG before but many replacements on two-wheelers. I WILL be very particular on that belt alignment!

The TG pulley change is easier than any other model because they dont have to replace the belt so it should be quick and easy for them as everything else is identical to other bikes except the rear tires have to be off for the belt adjustment, then its just a matter of making an accurate measurement, it has to be within 1/16' or less side to side, in this case less is better.

2-3 mph is more like it. I can live with that.
