That is all in the ears of the beholder. I installed the 4" SE Mufflers with the revolver end caps and I am very happy with them.

I have both Vance&Hines Twin Slash 4" Rounds and 4" Ovals. Have swaped them between my '07 Road King and wifes '10 Street Glide Trike. Both sound about the same. Wife likes the ovals on her trike better. IMO they both give a nice rumble at idle and cruise also not so loud that she cant hear radio.

Between the rounds and Ovals which has the better ground clearance?

Thumbs up

Plan on trading my ultra for a 2012 trike next year. Fuel-moto Jackpots will be the first mod with out a doubt. Have had many exhaust in many years, to me the Jackpots are spot on!

The Ovals have better clearence. These are not the monster oval or the epa ovals.

I just received a set of Jackpot Dyno-tuned slash down. I like them, but the CAT is a total buzz-kill. I think my new 2-1-2 headpipe will make them sound even better. Had Rineharts on the '03 SE Road King and they sounded real good too, but louder.

Best “sounding muffler” is a subjective call and dependents upon individual tastes. If you want the best “performing” muffler”; call Jamie at Fuel –Moto and have him hook you up with the best performing muffler for your set-up.

Chances are that you will also be pleased with the sound of his tuned recommendation.
