I just went with the Fullsac Touring Mufflers 1 3/4" core and positively love the deep throated sound they produce!

Default Jackpots

I just got back from a long trip (2,860 miles) on my new Tri-Glide with Fuelmoto headers and Jackpot slash-down mufflers. Sure enough, as advertised, you can ride all day with a nice, low, rumble but not on your nerves after 8 hours. I really like them for this trike. My wife rides with me on her Road King with Rineharts - which are louder but not terrible. I think I prefer the Jackpots for the trike, and the Rineharts for the RK.

Warning: going into and out of a parking garage in New York City, with their deep gutters, you'll scrape and flatten out the bottom of the mufflers about a quarter inch. I wish the slash-downs (which are the right shape) were about 2" shorter, but I didn't scrape anywhere else.

Seems to be the nature of the beast. I have 3" SE slash downs and they will drag in certain situations.
