Default Harley Ultra cool oil cooler

Could I go wrong with adding the new Ultra cool oil cooler to my 2010 trike for $400 and no cost for labor to install it? I have the stock on now and about the only mode I have not done to help cool it down or help protect the motor long term....My dealership is almost feeling sorry for me.....

I'd jump on it like a chicken on a June bug! Jagg 10 + Fan kit + installation compared to the big Ultra Cool with the dedicated fan installed!

sounds like a good deal expecially with the free installation

The ONLY problem with adding a temp gauge would mean taking away the extra port on the oil pan that would likely be used for the UltraCool thermal switch that automatically turns on the fan. Check posts from a few months back. Zoood has a nice hardware configuration, with pictures, where the UltraCool thermal switch is connected in-line with the cooler input hose.

Use a Tee and you can still use your gauge sensor in the sump port!

Header pipes from Fuel Motto..Woods tw6 cams---heat wrap on pipes--RJ heat shields --Oil gauge-- I still feel some heat but its down lower now around my calf instead of the upper leg..Woods cams make a world of difference on power..No longer have to shift down to 5th to pass a truck ..6th gear runs around 2900 rpm now instead of 2500 ...
