The crossover pipe gasket is a PIA, which I learned while working on my dads. I had to use an exhaust pipe expander on the crossover pipe to make it large enough for the new gasket to fit in the crossover pipe. When I replaced my head pipe with the Jackpot I just left the old gasket in because it was still pliable, it didn't leak.

Default Also just got my pipes

I just received my headpips from fuelmoto for wifes triglide, it also had both sets of bung plugs. I was going to warn about the crossover gasket but it looks like that has already been done ( i also expanded mine ). Now if we could only get Jammie to supply us with a nice SS crossover pipe. My instalation went about like yours in time and i also found it easier to do without heat shields. The old pipe is also very blue with only 3800 miles. I have installed the fuelmoto head pipe with Vance&Hines twin slash 4" rounds,Zippers high flow AC and thundermax autotuner tbw. I havent tried it yet as the fenders and batwing are at the custom paint shop. My wife also had trouble findind neutral so i put in red line shockproof gear/transmission oil in the tranny and she says it is way better now. i also use the same tranny oil in my roadking with a side hack.

Yup, its a hot bugger, my cat was bluer but it looks like your right tail pipe was hotter.

I've never had my Trike out in the dark so I don't know what mine did. I don't get out much at night, most of my riding is in the day time.

Default Dull red

I did notice mine glowing a faint dull red in places on the cat. I liked to run my bikes in the winter "never bought into it being harmful for short runs".

Any way on cold nights the red was more pronounced, may be due to cold air being more oxygen rich or maybe the ECM was adding more fuel but I have seen the cat glowing a slight dull red at night.

I have a habit of looking down to see how my back tires are tracking as I still try to get used to a 3-wheel profile. One night back in April I was on CA-99 going about 75. That whole cat section was BRIGHT red. About 2-3" in front and in back were dull red. It was the first time I've ridden it in the dark. I thought the TG was on fire. It was really weird. Was worried the CHP would pull me over for running LEDs as it was that bright. I have to add, as long as it's below 70 degrees out, it runs really good.
