as to not start up a new thread for a quick answer.

What is the make and model number of the parade fans being used that replaces the horn?

Doesn't the fan just turn the pizza oven 103 into a convection oven?Parade rider told me that the bikes with fans, and the Wings with liquid cooling stalled more than the 96 and 88 HD's at a major parade event.

Ya she had them on her 07 SG and I have them now on my 07 Ultra.
She wanted to try the Shamrock Ride heat shields this time.
So far so good ....

Rob.. when you get a chance and some time on the Shamrock blanket check the heat under it with your infrared.

I'm not being critical but just asking you to check if you will for me. I don't own a set and want to know how hot it gets under there while riding. thx

But cooks the right leg, the fan puts all that hot air right on the right leg and you have to have some pegs to get you leg up out of the heat steam.

It's a trade off, cooked leg or cooked engine! I just know that EITMS ain't kicking in so between the larger oil cooler and cooler fan plus the parade fan the engine is running within some decent heat parameters.

I wrapped the headpipe and it is not uncomfortable until you hit very hot days in traffic and have to go to the fans. I have had no stalling issue, Yet! I have been in slow and idle conditions for over 30 minutes at a time on 95 plus days and the Tri run ok. It did seem a little sluggish when the oil temp got around 240 but it was not a stall condition, had to use a little more clutch than usual to pull out at some lights.

I too have the LeNale Prade style fan. Harley also make a Prade fan but it is a much bigger and heavier unit.

I agree with Coupe, it is a trade off. The fans are so powerful that they blow warm air past the cylinders but I don’t think that my right leg is any hotter than before I installed the LeNale and I know that my engine likes the LeNale.

I too have foot pegs and they manage to keep my legs out of slip stream!

Mid to high 100 degree range ....
BTW ...
Today after a 80 mile ride with 2 long stops in between I measured the
heat again. At the rear plug on the right side it was 350^ and to the
left of it it was about 15^ cooler. The front plug was about 30^ cooler
at the same spots. Definatly will be doing the headpipe (with stock
exhaust), PC 5 and High Flow AC this Winter.
Rob .....

P.S. this is with no lowers installed and 85^ air temp with high humidity.
